How your files stay on your device

Most online tools upload your file to a server. kmra sends the tool to your browser instead.

  1. 1
    You open a tool

Your browser downloads the tool's code once, like any web page.

  2. 2
    Your browser does the work

Your file is read and edited in your device's memory. It isn't sent anywhere.

  3. 3
    You save the result

The finished file goes straight to your downloads. Your original stays untouched.

Blocked by design

Every kmra site sends a security policy that stops the page from contacting any other server. Even if there were a bug, your browser would refuse to send your file anywhere.

Check it yourself

  1. Open your browser's developer tools.
  2. Choose the Network tab.
  3. Use any tool. Nothing is sent while your file is processed.
